The Barron County Master Gardener Volunteers are hosting a workshop on Wednesday, October 17th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Pioneer Village Museum in Cameron. Dr. Brian Hudelson of the University of Wisconsin Plant Disease Diagnostics Clinic will present on diseases affecting trees in Wisconsin and provide tips on winter care.
The workshop is open to the public and is free. Due to a number of questions, fielded by our volunteers this summer, the Master Gardeners have asked Dr. Hudelson to come to Barron County to provide more details on why our trees are dying. He will also answer specific questions on plant diseases as time allows. No pre-registration is required. For more information, please contact Becky Schley, Agricultural Agent, at the UW-Extension Office at 715-537-6252.
