Master Gardener Training Scheduled for Fall

Being a master gardener is about becoming a Volunteer with the University of Wisconsin-Extension to help educate the public about gardening and natural resources.  Level 1 Master Gardener Volunteer Training is being offered in Barron County from September 5 through November 14.  Classes will be held at the UW-Barron County Campus in Rice Lake on Tuesday evenings.  The fee for the course is $125 per person and covers all course materials and supplies.  Class size is limited so pre-registration is required by Wednesday, August 23, by contacting the Barron County UW-Extension office at 537-6250 or tim.jergenson@ces.uwex.edu.
